Indigenous Wisdom and the Psychedelic Renaissance
A community discussion on the ethics of cultural exchange, reciprocity, and how to engage respectfully with natural medicine traditions that have been practiced by Indigenous peoples for generations.
What to expect
- A warm welcome. No experience needed, nothing to prepare, and nobody asks why you came.
- Most months a speaker or a planned discussion. Not a fixed agenda — somewhere honest to start.
- No going round the room. Nobody has to speak, and listening is full participation.
- Peer conversation. This is not therapy and no one present is acting as your clinician.
- A close by the stated end time.
What to bring
- Nothing required. Water and a notebook if you like.
Access and safety
Let us know before a gathering if you have access needs and we will do what we can to accommodate them.
The Santa Fe Psychedelic Society does not facilitate, promote, or encourage the procurement or distribution of illegal substances. Our gatherings offer education, peer dialogue, and harm reduction support — they are not therapy, not ceremonies, and no one present is acting as your clinician.
Read our community guidelines before your first gathering, and see resources for crisis and peer support lines.
