Community guidelines
We are committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful space. These guidelines reflect our values and protect everyone in the community.
Code of conduct
How we show up for each other
Respect and dignity
Every person in this community deserves to be treated with respect. This includes people of all backgrounds, experience levels, beliefs, and perspectives. Discrimination, harassment, and belittling language have no place here.
Confidentiality
What is shared in our gatherings stays within our gatherings. We ask all participants to hold the stories, struggles, and disclosures of others with discretion and care.
No facilitation or procurement
Our community space is not a venue for facilitating, arranging, or discussing the procurement of illegal substances. Please do not use our gatherings or communications channels for this purpose.
No medical or therapeutic claims
We are a peer community, not a clinical service. Please do not offer medical advice, make therapeutic claims, or present yourself as a provider in our community spaces unless you are doing so in a clearly delineated, disclosed context.
Consent and boundaries
Respect the physical and emotional boundaries of others. Ask before sharing personal content. Make space for people to participate at their own comfort level.
Honesty and epistemic humility
This is a landscape where much is still unknown. We ask that you represent your certainty honestly, acknowledge limitations in your knowledge, and remain open to complexity.
Accountability
If you cause harm, take responsibility. If you see harm occurring, speak up through appropriate channels. We are all responsible for maintaining the integrity of this space.
Enforcement
How we handle violations
Violations of these guidelines may result in removal from a gathering, temporary suspension from community events, or permanent removal from the community, depending on the severity and pattern of behavior.
If you experience or witness a violation, you can contact Gina Devani directly at somasoul [at] protonmail [dot] com. We take all reports seriously and will maintain appropriate confidentiality throughout any process.
